He played This Is Not A Safe Place on Wednesday’s show. The replay is available here (18th Novmeber, 2020), and is a nice eclectic mix of different genres. Definitely worth a listen.
Thanks Dazz, appreciate the support mate.
Big thanks to Mark and Gary from Postcards From the Underground on Cumbernauld FM in Scotland, for playing This Is Not A Safe Place on Saturday’s show.
We’re totally stoked, even if it turns out we’re not the first Australian band on 😀
You can listen to the replay here. We’re on around the 1hr 17 minute mark, but listen to the whole show, there’s some cracking tunes on it.
Big thanks to De Mist for playing This Is Not A Safe Place on their show on Friday night.
If you’re not aware, De Mist is a post-rock radio show on Radio Hoogeveen in the Netherlands. You can also listen to it on podcast.
There was a bunch of great music on the show, so definitely worth a listen.
Really enjoyed having a chat with Karol from IDIOTEQ.com about the band and also doing a Track-by-Track for Requiem.
Was also happy to get a chance to callout some other Australian Artists, specifically Solkyri, Tangled Thoughts of Leaving, Hazards of Swimming Naked, A Broken Sail and Dream Cities.
Full Interview and Track-by-Track here. Thanks again IDIOTEQ.
Super grateful to Rock Privado on Radio BUAP in Mexico for playing two of our tracks on Thursday night’s show. You can listen to the whole show here.
Guillermo, we can’t tell you how thankful we are for your support. Your show is rapidly becoming our regular Friday morning listen here in Sydney.
4ZZZ had a massive influence on me as a teenager growing up in the suburbs north of Brisbane. 4ZZZ was where I heard Sonic Youth for the first time. Same with Einstürzende Neubauten, Dinosaur Jr, the list goes on and on. It showed there was amazing art being created that was hidden from me within the strict confines of mainstream radio.
4ZZZ also politicised me. It was the first place I heard serious discussion about indigenous issues, women’s rights, LGBTQIA issues, workers rights, and again, the list could go on. For a suburban boy, these discussions were sometimes confusing, sometimes confronting, but constantly mind expanding.
Might sound overblown, but 4ZZZ played a big part in shaping my tastes and views to this day.
Last night, 4ZZZ played one of my songs. I can die happy now.
Thanks 4ZZZ and Adrian from Rusted Satellites.
There were of course a bunch of other excellent Australian and overseas artists on the show. Go check it out.
